Developer credits

The billing unit is deliberately simple: 1 successfully generated question = 1 credit.

Free trial

Newly issued beta developer keys start with 30 credits.

Recharge

The current default configuration is 100 credits per USD (for example, 100 credits is approximately USD 1.00 before any applicable taxes/fees shown by checkout).

When you run out

Generation returns HTTP 402 insufficient_credits. Recharge in the portal and retry.

How payment works

  1. Sign into the Developer Portal with your API key.
  2. Choose a credit amount and continue to Stripe Checkout.
  3. Credits are added only after KleeQuiz verifies the Stripe webhook. Returning to the success page alone does not mint credits.

Checkout controls the actual amount and currency charged. Credit purchases are generally final once delivered, except where required by law or where KleeQuiz corrects a billing error.
